Your donation goes a long way!

After many years of bringing joy and festive spirit to our city centre, the Christmas Tree is in need of some support! Standing at 27 metres tall to the tip of the star, the Hamilton Christmas tree is over 6 stories high and proudly holds the record as New Zealand’s largest Christmas tree.

For over 15 years, the tree has brought tens of thousands of people festive cheer from the free-for-all Lighting Concert at the end of November right through to, and including, New Years Eve. During the daylight hours, the tree stands to remind people of the joy of Christmas and what that means to them, to act as a back drop to other festive activities happening in Garden Place and a central point for friends and family to gather.

However, the tree is now in need of a new frame. Hamilton Christmas Charitable Trust is appealing for support to keep the tree shining brightly for years to come.

As a charitable trust, Hamilton Christmas Charitable Trust raise money each year to ensure free events are held for the children and families of our city and region. The Trust can only do this through generous sponsorships, grant funding, donations and fundraising.

Thank you for your generous support – every donation helps!
